Welcome to Global English Academy Online. I created GEAO because I am passionate about helping young students learn English, and I thrive on helping them succeed.
Global English Academy Online began in 2026 with a simple vision: to create an online English school where children feel supported, encouraged and confident enough to use English in real life. I wanted learning to be more than memorising words and grammar. I wanted every child to have a teacher who notices their strengths, supports their challenges and celebrates their progress.
My goal is to build a learning environment where children can make mistakes without embarrassment, ask questions freely, keep trying and discover that they really can do hard things. That belief is at the heart of GEAO and the way we design our lessons, materials, teachers' support and school platform.

Lesson times are arranged according to teacher availability and the student's selected or agreed schedule. Students are expected to attend on time and be ready to participate.

If a student arrives late, the lesson will generally still finish at the scheduled end time and additional time may not be available.

Global English Academy Online may offer packages containing multiple lessons. Unless a different written validity period is expressly agreed, package lessons are intended to be used within the applicable package validity period communicated at purchase.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, package lessons are for the registered student and may not be transferred to another person without prior approval.

Unused or expired lessons are not automatically carried forward, refunded, transferred or exchanged for cash except where required by applicable law or where the Academy agrees otherwise in exceptional circumstances.

All fees must be paid using the payment method made available or approved by Global English Academy Online. A lesson or package is confirmed only after the required payment has been successfully received or otherwise confirmed.

The Academy may suspend or cancel services where required payment has not been received. Prices and package terms may change from time to time; changes will not alter lessons or packages already paid for unless otherwise communicated and agreed.

Students or parents/guardians should give as much notice as possible when cancelling or requesting a rescheduled lesson. Where applicable, requests made at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson may be eligible for rescheduling.

If a teacher cannot conduct a confirmed lesson, Global English Academy Online may arrange another suitable teacher, reschedule the lesson, or provide another appropriate solution.

Students will not be charged for a lesson cancelled by the Academy that cannot reasonably be rescheduled, subject to applicable law and the specific circumstances.

Refund requests will be considered in accordance with applicable South African law and the circumstances of the request. Completed lessons are generally non-refundable.
